Who we are
Our website address is: https://patriciafortedesign.com.
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, as well as the visitor’s IP address and browser information to help detect spam.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to check if you are using it. Gravatar’s privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After your comment is approved, your profile picture becomes publicly visible alongside your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the website, avoid uploading images that include embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors can download images from the site and extract location data from them.
Cookies
When you leave a comment on the site, you may opt to save your name, email, and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so you do not have to fill in your details again when leaving another comment. These cookies last for one year.
If you have an account and log into this site, a temporary cookie will be created to determine if your browser accepts cookies. It contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and screen display preferences. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for one year. If you select “Remember Me,” your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after one day.
Embedded media from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g., videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves exactly the same as if the visitor had visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction if you have an account and are logged into that website.
Who we share your data with
If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This allows us to recognize and automatically approve any follow-up comments instead of holding them for moderation.
For users who register on our site (if any), we also store the personal information provided in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except for their username). Website administrators can also view and edit this information.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site or have left comments, you can request an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided. You may also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are required to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Where your data is sent
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
Plugin: Smush
Note: Smush does not interact with end users on your website. The only input option Smush has is a newsletter subscription for the site administrator only. If you would like to notify your users about this in your privacy policy, you may use the information below.
Smush sends images to the WPMU DEV servers to optimize them for the web. This includes the transfer of EXIF data. The EXIF data will either be stripped or returned. It is not stored on WPMU DEV servers.
Smush uses the Stackpath Content Delivery Network (CDN). Stackpath may store web log information of site visitors, including IP addresses, user agent, referrer, location, and ISP information for up to 7 days. Files and images served by the CDN may be stored and delivered from countries other than your own. Stackpath’s privacy policy can be found here.
Smush uses third-party email services (Drip) to send information to the site administrator. The administrator’s email address is set in Drip and a cookie is set by the service. Only the administrator’s information is collected by Drip.
